SGi Recommendations

We recommended a 3000K colour temperature for the warm welcoming atmosphere required by the clients and our RGB colour changing Flex in UltraBright to saturate the water fall element that was the focal point of the pool and whole landscape in the back yard.

Our LED Deck Lights that were installed into the patio stones to perform as markers and accents along the stone pool deck. The clients chose to keep the stainless steel finish as they would add the little sparkle and stand up to the weather.

Large Trees
Our Square LED Spot Lights in the 3000K colour temperatures complimented the general theme of the warm colours. Their wide beam angle and strong lens projected the light to catch the large canopy of the 20ft trees.

Small Trees – walking area
Our 3W Cylinder LED Spot Lights in the 3000K colour temperatures kept in line with the warm colours of the other lights in this space. Their tight beam angle and compact form allowed them to be in a small space without compromising on the light output.

Coping Lights
If the design does not require very high levels of illumination we recommend our LED BasicBright Flex lights to create an ambient glow. We specified this in 24VDC to get longer runs with less voltage drops. The same effect could be achieved with our LED UltraBright Flex on dimmers, which would also provide the option to pump up the lights for more usable light. However, with the desire to support the budget, we opted for using the BasicBright. This not only helps the budget with lower light costs, but also keeps the size and quantity of power supplies to a minimum so the look of the exterior design is not sacrificed. These are just some of the ways we work with our clients to achieve their full dream within the guidelines they give us for design, budget and timelines.

Pool Waterfall Lighting
The ultimate design for the pool area was outlining the pool and waterfall with LED colour changing lights to compliment the spot lights previously installed in the pool. By adding UltraBright RGB Colour Changing LED Flex lights to the waterfall we created a focal point for this majestic feature and completed the look of the backyard. The colours worked perfectly with the pool spot lights and highlighted the main feature of the back yard which previously lacked glamour. This solution also kept the client within his budget.

Custom Cabling Harness
The LED Flex lights were manufactured in specific lengths with custom length jumpers and connectors added to them as dictated by distances of power location. Custom cabling harnesses were done to assist in the installation done by client.

Clean lines describe this stunning Woodbridge home. Our young professional clients had some design ideas and they desired an upscale look for their newly landscaped back yard.
We were excited to work with this client as he was also from the design industry with lots of experience selling LED lights. It was a vote of confidence for us when he chose SGi products for his own home.

Our vision was to use lighting to extend their warm and inviting personalities outdoors and make this oasis usable day and night.
We did our best to maximize the existing pre-wired circuits for the phase 1 of this design without the need for extra wiring.

Not only were we able to impress our new clients with our products and pricing, but in the process, we also made new friends in the industry!

We are now looking forward to doing the lighting for the second phase.
