SGi Recommendations

We recommended a 3000K colour temperature for general lighting fixtures installed on dimmers.

General Illumination
High ceilings in the stairwell required lighting to be installed to illuminate stairwell with little natural light. Our LED Downlights provided the perfect fixture option for this. On dimmer switches the LED Downlights could be bright for function and dimmed for useful light at night. The clients chose the silver finishes to add the little sparkle to their home.

Babies’ Room
Our 7W LED Down Lights were the perfect choice for 8ft high ceilings that would be bright without the heat of traditional halogen lights. Installed on dimmers they worked well for midnight changes and feeding time.

As usual, SGi delivers. I have been in the construction business for a long time and I need the extra support as a Contractor from an older generation. I needed to learn about this new lighting technology or I won’t be relevant in my field as I am now working with the children of most of my regular clients. They are younger couples and they do lots of research and I have to come up with new solutions for them that is current. I was guided very patiently by SGi on how to work with this new technology.

Shabir has been a good support. I always get the answers to all my technical questions. He has always made himself available to come on site and support me. Sapna and Shabir will even meet with my clients and will patiently go through the site and design with us and make recommendations.

I am very happy with the support SGi has always given me. They will even order the other accessories for me so I can just have one deliver straight to the job site. This really makes my job simple and I know they will think of everything I need for the installation.

Now, my next job – a work and live concept in the heart of downtown…all with SGi lights.

We were contacted by one of our Contractors, Robert, to help out once again on one of his projects. This time he was updating an older Toronto home for a young couple expecting a twins.

Looking forward to many busy evenings with the arrival of twins, although there would be lots of “changing” for this couple, they would definitely have no time for changing light bulbs or dealing with high ladders. The 17 foot high ceiling in a stairwell like this is the perfect application for LED Downlights.
